This Privacy Policy explains how Shawn Penoyer, LLC, operating Chandelier Installation and ChandelierInstallation.net, collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website, request pricing or service, communicate with us, submit photographs, use customer portals or booking tools, accept estimates, sign documents, make payments, or otherwise interact with our services.

We may collect information you provide directly, information generated through your project or customer relationship, and limited technical information generated when you use our website or online services.

• Project information such as fixture type, dimensions, weight, ceiling height, access conditions, requested services, scheduling information, building requirements, and messages or instructions you provide.
• Photographs, videos, attachments, product links, invoices, receipts, installation instructions, or other project records you choose to provide.
• Estimate, quote, invoice, payment-status, electronic-signature, booking, customer-portal, and transaction records associated with services you request or purchase.
• Communications by email, text message, telephone, customer portal, website forms, or other business channels.
• Website and device information such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, dates and times of visits, and interactions with website links or forms.

Website Analytics, Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website currently uses Google Analytics to measure website traffic and interactions. Google Analytics and related technologies may use cookies or similar identifiers and may receive device, browser, IP-derived, page-view, referral, and interaction information for analytics and performance measurement.

Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical information, including network and device signals, when you submit protected website forms to help identify automated or abusive traffic.

You can control many cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or scripts may affect website functionality, customer portals, booking tools, payment pages, or forms. We do not rely on a statement that merely continuing to browse constitutes consent where applicable law requires a different consent mechanism.

Information You Submit Through Forms and Communications

When you request a quote, use our pricing tools, submit a contact form, email or text us, or otherwise communicate with us, we use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, evaluate the requested project, prepare pricing, create customer records, schedule service, communicate readiness requirements, and provide the requested services.

Website forms may allow you to upload photographs of fixtures, ceilings, rooms, access conditions, product labels, or other project details. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial account credentials, medical information, or other highly sensitive information unless we specifically request it through an appropriate secure method.

Customer Project Records, Photographs and Video

We may create or retain photographs, video, measurements, condition notes, parts lists, service notes, communications, and other records relating to a customer-owned fixture or project. These records may be used for quoting, documentation, quality control, safety, insurance, dispute prevention, training, and service history.

Non-identifying photographs or video of fixtures and completed work may be used in our portfolio, website, educational materials, or social media unless you ask us in writing before service not to use project images for marketing. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid publishing service addresses, documents, license plates, children, private customer information, or other identifying details. We will seek appropriate permission before intentionally using a recognizable customer likeness or testimonial in advertising when reasonably required.

Payments and Financial Information

Payments may be processed through Zoho and third-party payment providers made available on an invoice or secure checkout, which may include bank-account payments, credit or debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, or other supported methods. Alternative payment methods may also be authorized in writing.

Payment providers process payment credentials under their own terms and privacy practices. We generally receive transaction information needed for accounting and customer service, such as payment status, amount, date, method, processor reference, and limited account or card descriptors, rather than full card or bank credentials. We use financial and transaction records for billing, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, refunds, dispute handling, and business records.

How We Use Information

We may use information to provide quotes and services; communicate with customers; create and administer estimates, invoices, appointments, and customer records; process payments and refunds; coordinate transportation, storage, repair, installation, or other work; prevent fraud and abuse; secure our systems; document projects; maintain accounting and tax records; manage insurance or legal claims; improve our website and services; analyze business performance; and comply with legal obligations.

We may send service-related communications that are necessary to administer an inquiry, quote, invoice, payment, appointment, customer-owned property in our custody, or completed project. Promotional communications, if sent, may be discontinued by using an available unsubscribe method or by contacting us.

We use third-party providers to operate portions of our business. Depending on the interaction, information may be processed by providers such as Zoho for CRM, estimates, invoices, customer portals, bookings, workflow automation, and related business services; Resend or another email-delivery provider for website inquiries and notifications; Cloudflare for website delivery, security, and Turnstile; Google Analytics for website measurement; and payment providers selected through secure checkout.

We may also share information with contractors, movers, suppliers, insurers, attorneys, accountants, building management, or other parties when reasonably necessary for a customer-authorized project, to obtain or provide requested services, to protect people or property, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal or insurance claims.

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, governmental request, or other lawful process, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud, protect safety or property, enforce our agreements, or protect legal rights.

Sale of Personal Information and Advertising

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. We do not knowingly operate our website for the purpose of selling customer contact or project information to data brokers, and we do not knowingly use customer project information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
